Caring for your Garments

Each garment is thoughtfully handcrafted from organic, hand-loomed natural fibres, chosen for their beauty, character, and enduring quality. These artisanal fabrics possess a unique softness and texture that deserve mindful care. By treating your garment with consideration, you will preserve its natural beauty and enjoy it for years to come.

Washing

We recommend washing your garment at a maximum of 30°C using a gentle or delicate cycle, with a maximum spin speed of 800 rpm.

Where possible, wash with similar colours and consider placing your garment in a mesh laundry bag to provide additional protection during washing.

Choosing a Detergent

Natural fibres respond best to gentle care. We recommend using a mild, plant-based or natural detergent that is free from harsh chemicals, optical brighteners, bleach, and aggressive enzymes.

Avoid strong detergents and chemical cleaning agents, as they can compromise the integrity of the fibres, diminish their natural softness, and alter the richness of the fabric. In some cases, harsh chemicals may cause irreversible discolouration or staining that cannot be restored.

Drying

Please do not tumble dry.

Instead, gently reshape your garment while damp and allow it to air dry naturally, away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight. This helps preserve the garment's silhouette, softness, and the distinctive character of the hand-loomed fibres.

Finishing & Storage

If required, iron on a low heat, preferably on the reverse side. Steaming your garments is a great alternative that gently releases creases while helping to preserve the natural texture and integrity of the hand-loomed fibres.

Store your garment in a cool, dry place, away from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, to maintain the integrity and colour of the natural fibres.

Crafted to Last

Every piece is made with intention, celebrating the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and natural materials. With thoughtful care, your garment will continue to soften, develop character, and remain a cherished part of your wardrobe for many seasons to come.
